Ontario Trillium Foundation - Thank You!

Because of Ontario Trillium Foundation, we are able to improve the quality of sound and production at Radio Regent. With their support we are now able to widen our range of audio for live feed and recorded Podcasts, replace our newly 20 year old equipment and even get some top of the line DSLR cameras to invite our listeners visually right into our studios. Without Ontario Trillium Foundation, we would still be fiddling with daily repairs and maintenance issues to equipment that hangs on 'loose threads'. So we'd like to thank Ontario Trillium Foundation once again for supporting all the work we do here at Radio Regent and Regent Park Focus !

Laura Albanese Minister of Citizenship and Immigration

blishd: November 6th, 2017 Laura Albanese, Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, was at Radio Regent today to announce the first recipients of the Multicultural Community Capacity Grant program. Regent Park Focus is receiving support through the program for a civic engagement project to engage newcomer youth through multimedia resources that promote social inclusion and participation in community life. Radio Regent is a program of Regent Park Focus Youth Media Arts Centre.

Last night the latest Mayoral Debate was held in Regent Park at the Daniels Spectrum in partnership with Regent Park Focus , RPTV and After The Collapse (from Radio Regent). Listen to After The Collapse for more information on the out come of the Regent Park hosted Toronto Mayoral Debate. Debate considered of the following candidates: John Tory, Olivia Chow and Radio Regent's own Ari Goldkind who hosts The Truth, which airs every Wednesday at 7pm - 8pm.
